If life has changed and you feel like you’re wearing somone elses clothes, you’re in the right place!
I know from personal experience that style can be a powerful way to reconnect with yourself, especially during times of change
Hi, I’m Michelle 👋
I’m a professionally qualified Personal Stylist and Style Coach, a Mum to one wonderful son and four much-loved furbabies 🐾 and a lifelong handbag👜 lover with a deep passion for fashion and styling. I also have a YouTube channel dedicated to my love of handbags and a positivity clothing brand called PositiveHug.
But more than that, I’m someone who understands what it feels like to step into a new season of life, especially when that season arrives through challenge, transition, or loss.
If you’re navigating a relationship breakdown, career change, motherhood, back-to-work after time off or menopause or simply feel disconnected, you’re not alone.
My journey with style truly began over twelve years ago, shortly after my son was born. Before then, I wore what was ‘on trend’, because I wanted to fit in, but I didn’t put much thought into it. When I returned to work after maternity leave, getting dressed felt overwhelming. My body had changed, my time was very limited, and standing in front of my wardrobe each morning left me feeling frustrated and upset.
I had changed, my lifestyle had changed, my head was in a different space, but my wardrobe hadn’t come along for the ride and changed with me.
Then came my lightbulb moment 💡
While watching a Gok Wan show, I saw women transformed through simple, thoughtfully curated capsule wardrobes. Around 20 pieces that worked effortlessly together. The confidence it gave them was incredible, and suddenly, everything made sense. Style didn’t have to be complicated. It could be simplified and made easier.
That was my turning point.
With limited money but a wardrobe full of clothes, I began creating my own capsule wardrobe. Like so many women, I had impulse buys, pieces that didn’t fit properly, colours that clashed, and outfits saved for “one day” which never came. Back then, I didn’t really know much about style, but I chose a colour palette that felt like me: black, white, and grey with pops of red, green, and my forever favourite, purple, and I let go of everything else. I wasn’t down to 20 pieces, I never intended to be, but just wanted something which worked, was simple and felt like the new me. Some of my favourite pieces were stored away, and others were donated.
As a born horder, it really wasn’t easy to part ways with anything at all, but it was transformative.
Getting dressed became simple ✅
My confidence grew ✅
I was getting daily compliments ✅
Management started to notice me ✅
Strangers asked me where my clothes were from ✅
And I realised just how powerful style can be. Clothes aren’t just about how you look; they’re about how you feel, how you show up, and how you move forward. I wanted to look good, feel good and get ready in a hurry, and this made it happen.
Since then, I’ve experienced my other major life transitions, including a long term relationship separation and a significant career change. I’m now experiencing the joys of perimenopause, and all the fun which comes along with it 😳
Each time, I leaned on style as a way to reconnect with myself (as I am now), rebuild my confidence, and step into the next chapter with strength and authenticity.
I’ve since become utterly obsessed with styling and gained multiple personal styling and coaching qualifications, including from the British College of Professional Styling, the Centre of Excellence, and the world-renowned London College of Fashion. I’m also a graduate of Lauren Messiah’s Style Boss Academy, have taken other Lauren Messiah courses and a proud member of the Federation of Image Professionals International (FIPI).
Today, I want to help other women experience what I did.
Our lives never stop changing; we grow and evolve, but our wardrobes don’t always follow the same path.
My mission is to help women who are moving through change discover who they are, through style that feels aligned and truly them, so they can confidently move into their next chapter in the best possible way.
I know first-hand that when you feel good in what you wear, everything changes, so if you’re ready to take that next step, I’d love to support you on your journey.
You’re welcome to book a no-pressure discovery call with me where we can talk about your current style frustrations, what you need to make it right, and whether working together feels right for you. This is your next chapter. You don’t have to step into it alone!

Life has a way of changing us, and sometimes our wardrobe doesn’t quite keep up. Big life shifts, like a divorce, a new baby, or a career change, can leave you feeling disconnected from yourself and unsure of how to show up in the world again.
If you’ve ever stood in front of your wardrobe thinking, “Nothing feels like me anymore”, please know, you’re not alone, and there is nothing wrong with you. There’s no pressure to get it “perfect” and no rules you have to follow. Just be curious, kind to yourself, and have a fresh start
